Granite St, Geebung

The Granite St geebung fotout involved a new interior fitout of an exsitng building for a government department in Geebung, Brisbane.

The multi-storey buidling was fitout for 60+ staff, and contained an array of desks, meeting rooms, kitchens and staff areas, as well as flexible works spaces and meeting hubs.

The design focused on creating a functional, efficient, and professional workspace that reflects the values and responsibilities of the public sector client. The fitout arrangment balanced the need for both collaborative and private work environments, while ensuring accessibility, durability, and compliance.

A welcoming reception area with a secure check-in desk, seating for visitors, and clear signage was provied, with the design ensuring a professional first impression, with government branding subtly integrated into the décor. An open-plan workstation layout allows for easy communication and collaboration among staff, while providing sufficient personal space for focused work.

A variety of meeting rooms, ranging from small, informal breakout spaces to larger conference rooms equipped with AV technology for presentations, video conferencing, and collaborative sessions were provided, along with specifically designated collaborative areas, including informal breakout zones and communal lounges, where staff can gather for brainstorming, team meetings, or casual interactions.

The design provides a functional, flexible, and professional environment that supports the government department’s mission and operations.
