Our Team

Carlo is a highly responsive and effective director. Overseeing all CA Architects projects, he ensures the design and review role on all projects is optimised.

Carlo has practiced as an architect since 1984, and established the Cairns based CA Architects in1993. He has a wide range of experience in many building types and it is his personality and commitment to quality design and complete client satisfaction that defines CA Architects.

Carlo has a plethora of masterplanning, residential and commercial mixed use experience.

Gisela is a qualified Architect and Urban Designer who joined CA Architects in 2003. She is passionate about urban planning and design, and is focused on how residential, commercial and retail spaces can combine to create the very best urban environments. As one of CA Architects leading architects, she has
undertaken a very diversified portfolio of projects, ranging from mixed-use institutional buildings, residential and commercial projects, as well as integrated resort and township master planning & urban design. She is the key to the ESD strategy and performance on CA Architects projects as well as
complex and sensitive, integrated design solutions. As a Green Star Accredited Professional she has successfully achieved ESD outcomes through the Conics Building, and the State Government Office building William McCormack Place Stage 2

Mark joined CA Architects in 2014.  Mark is committed to designing and detailing buildings that respond to the client’s needs and the local environment. He has experience in a variety of project types, including commercial, education, health, community and residential buildings.

Peter Muller is an Architect who has been with CA Architects since
2021, however has architectural experience spanning 14 years. Prior
to his employment at CA Architects, Peter was an Architect working
in North Queensland and Western Australia including in the remote
Kimberley region. Peter has strong skills in all stages of architectural
design process as well as a high level of experience in project
management and stakeholder consultation.
Peter has worked across a variety of project typologies including
stadia, education, health, multi-residential, retail and commercial.

Chris joined CA Architects in 2016. His project experience has focused on hospitality, corporate and residential projects through all phases of design, documentation & administration. Chris’s meticulous attention to detail and thoroughness in the development of conceptual designs into buildable and creative design solutions, allows for resolving complex design issues at an early phase of the Architectural process.

Since joining CA Architects in 2014, John has been involved in a diverse range or projects of varying scale across a range of typologies in both architecture and urban design. His passion for delivering high quality architecture has successfully contributed to hospitality, commercial, multi residential, hotel and urban design projects. John enjoys the challenge of innovative and unique design and is passionate and committed to delivering high quality outcomes. His overall project experience provides a sound knowledge of project processes, and his dynamic skill set is highly applicable to any project.

Gerard joined CA Architects in 2019. He is experienced in Revit Architecture, and as 3D Modeller and technical draftsperson.  He has a solid understanding of all project phases (Concept- schematic design, Development-Construction, documentation), and possess a high degree of attention to detail on all works which he’s involved in.

Tarran joined CA Architects in February 2015 after completing a Masters of Architecture at the University of Adelaide. Since working at CA Architects, Tarran has undertaken work on a diversity of projects that have transformed the Far North region including commercial, residential and cultural developments of varying scales. Tarran is dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for all clients and stakeholders involved in projects. He strives to create enjoyable spaces and is part of our team dedicated to the furthering of sustainable design and has contributed to award winning projects.

Chad Brown graduated with a Master of Architecture in 2015 from the Queensland University of Technology, and has gained considerable experience at several architectural practices before joining CA Architects in 2022.
Chad’s collaborative approach toward client participation and the design outcome is key to the success of any project he is involved in. He endeavours to deliver intimate, people-orientated designs, with the fundamental principles of sustainability underpinning his projects.

Tarryn has had over 6 years experience as an interior designer
prior to joining CA Architects in 2020. She has worked on projects
across many different sectors ranging from large and small-scale
refurbishments to new builds, throughout Queensland.
Tarryn has a strong passion for interior design. Her approach to her
work is creative and intuitive, with client-focused solutions that are
tailored to reflect the surrounding environment. Tarryn has acquired a
large portfolio of successful projects and is dedicated to producing the
best quality outcome for each of her clients.

With 19 years drafting experience, Brent’s expertise provides comprehensive and appropriate documentation qualities with good communication skills over a wide variety of projects. Projects range from Aged Care and Health, Education and Sports and recreation. Brent enjoys the challenge that comes with beginning a new project from initial client consultation, design, construction and handover.

Sheree joined CA Architects in February 2015. With over 15 years’ experience working in administrative roles, she brings and extensive understanding of office culture and responsibilities. At CA Architects, Sheree is responsible for front of house operations, providing assistance to the directors and CA Architects team, and oversees quality assurance control.

Wendy has been at CA Architects since its establishment in 1993. As a director of the company, Wendy oversees all office administrative duties including accounts and office management.

Brodie joined CA Architects in September, 2017. Brodie graduated from St. Augustine’s College in 2016 with a strong ambition to join the architectural industry. He began studying at Central Queensland University in 2017 and later gained both labour and office experience. Since beginning work with CA Architects, Brodie has assisted in the documentation of many different projects on different scales.
