The AoS Northern Hub proposes a new sporting facility at the Tafe Queensland Bracken Ridge Campus. The proposal maximises the potential of existing greenfield portions of the campus, by proposing a multi-faceted sports precinct.
The southwest of the site contains a new multi purpose oval, with a combined regulation size AFL, rugby and football field. Directly adjacent to the oval, is a new clubhouse and amenities building, sleeved by a new 40 car capacity carpark.
Located to the north of the site and adjacent to the existing carpark is a new multi sports hall, and strength and conditioning building. The sports hall contain 3 x multi-purpose covered courts, with regulation size netball and basketball courts. These feed directly into the strength and conditional building, which contains a gym, recovery pool, training rooms, multi-purpose rooms, and amenities and changerooms on ground floor.
The upper level consists of private staff area, including an open plan office, and flexible works spaces.
